TW Challenge 1: Relationships that relate to me
One of my favorite things about Teen Wolf is the bonds in the show. One of my favorite bonds just happens to be between Melissa and Scott Mccall. They’re all each other has in terms of family. There are no outside familial bonds that are helping and supporting them. They both look out for each other and Melissa works hard to make sure that her and her son are taken care of. They don’t have a ton of money and they do what they can with the income they have.
Scott wasn’t able to buy a new phone right away because he didn’t have the money, they’re a family who gets by and supports each other, they may not be completely honest with each other but they will do anything to help the other. Whether it’s Scott picking up his mom for work or Melissa learning to accept that her son is a werewolf…it’s a relationship that I love because it reminds me of my mother and I, sans the werewolf part.
We take care of each other and make due even with an absent male figure in the house just as these two do because they know they can make it with each other.
