radruby:

“how will i know”:

this was good. no complaints. it worked and was a nice rendition. they didn’t get hokey with it or try to remix the shit out of it. it was just clean.

“i wanna dance with somebody”:

i can’t believe people are honestly excited over this. i love hemo as much as the next gleek-but whitney she ain’t. i mean are we listening to the same thing here?! it sounds like some random schlub on youtube and honestly, though i shouldn’t be surprised at this point i guess, c’mon glee-you can do better than that.

“saving all my love for you”:

so while i’m excited about a duet for the two of them bc i unashamedly ship it, this is rubbish as well. it’s not the total trainwreck of IWDWS, but still. i mean joe has a good voice and i can tolerate his bits, but then there’s quinn. and i just can’t help but sigh because do they not realize who they’re covering here?! IT’S FUCKING WHITNEY HOUSTON! so the first thought was-oh yeah! let’s give quinn a song?! no. you cannot, and above all else, should not just have anybody cover whitney. this is just not okay.

basically to sum up my thoughts on this fuckery:

UPDATE:

“so emotional”:

ugh. really? here we go again. now i adore naya’s voice. i’ve said before and i’ll keep saying it, but once again this is so sub-par it’s just laughable. the whole thing just sounds so forced and fake. i know the glee cast loves whitney, i know they were probably excited and had a good time making these…but just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should.
